2. Service Nature

Gharvynndlix provides tailoring and alteration services, which are customised services performed on your garments. As such, these services are subject to specific terms under Irish consumer protection legislation.

3. Your Rights Under Consumer Rights Act 2022

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2022, you have the right to services that are:

  • Performed with reasonable care and skill
  • Completed within a reasonable time (or within the agreed timeframe)
  • Provided at a reasonable price (or the agreed price)

4. Satisfaction Guarantee

We are committed to providing high-quality tailoring and alteration services. If you are not satisfied with the work performed, please contact us within 7 days of collection to discuss your concerns. We will work with you to address any issues and make necessary adjustments where appropriate.

5. Adjustments and Corrections

If you are not satisfied with the fit or finish of alterations, we offer the following:

  • Free Adjustments: We will make reasonable adjustments at no additional cost if the work does not meet the agreed specifications or if there is a fault in our workmanship.
  • Timeframe: Adjustments must be requested within 7 days of collecting your garment.
  • Conditions: The garment must be in the same condition as when collected, and the requested adjustments must be within the scope of what was originally agreed.

6. Refund Policy

Refunds may be available in the following circumstances:

  • Service Not Provided: If we are unable to complete the service due to circumstances beyond your control, a full refund will be provided.
  • Faulty Workmanship: If the work is significantly faulty and cannot be rectified through adjustments, a partial or full refund may be provided at our discretion.
  • Cancellation: If you cancel a service before work has commenced, a full refund will be provided. If work has commenced, a partial refund may be provided based on the work completed.

7. Non-Refundable Situations

The following situations are generally not eligible for refunds:

  • Changes of mind after the service has been completed and you are satisfied with the work
  • Damage to garments that occurs after collection and is not related to our workmanship
  • Alterations requested that cannot be performed due to fabric limitations or garment construction (we will inform you of this before commencing work)
  • Services completed more than 30 days ago

8. Process for Returns or Adjustments

To request an adjustment or discuss a return:

  1. Contact us within 7 days of collecting your garment
  2. Bring the garment to our workshop in its original condition
  3. Explain the issue or concern
  4. We will assess the situation and propose a solution

9. Time Limits

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2022, you have the right to request remedies for faulty services. However, you must act within a reasonable time. We recommend contacting us within 7 days of collecting your garment if you have any concerns.

10. Garment Condition

For adjustments or refunds to be considered, garments must be returned in the same condition as when collected. Garments that have been worn, damaged, or altered after collection may not be eligible for adjustments or refunds.

11. Disputes

If you are not satisfied with our resolution of a complaint, you have the right to:

  • Contact the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (CCPC) for advice
  • Seek resolution through alternative dispute resolution mechanisms
  • Pursue legal remedies as appropriate under Irish law
